3 Hours Before Flight Time
As you arrive at the Cape Town International Airport, a Travcare representative will be meeting you to help with transferring you to your pre-booked hotel. As is popular knowledge, Cape Town is one of the most well-liked long haul destinations in the world. Due to its unique topography, it is also one of the easiest places to familiarize oneself with in as short a time as merely ten days. That is, as long as you remember that you have the Table Mountain behind you, the Robben Island in front of you and you are surrounded by the world’s most naturally scenic beauty. In simple words, when you are facing north, you are directly looking across the beautiful Table Bay and on the other side is the breath taking west coast of Africa. Overnight at hotel.
You will only be provided with breakfast/brunch. After breakfast, you may leave for the half-day tour of the outstanding Mother City. You will be beginning from a scenic coastal drive through Clifton and Sea Point. Later the tour will pass the Houses of Parliament, the Castle, the South Africa Museum, and a few other historical sites, such as District Six, Bo-Kaap, Slave Lodge and more, ending at the bustling Greenmarket Square. A cable car ride will take you up the Table Mountain if the weather permits, or you’ll have to make do with Signal Hill for a breath-taking view over the city with entrance included. After the tour, you return to your hotel and relax for the rest of the day. Overnight at hotel.
Only breakfast or brunch will be provided for the day, but you begin the day with the breakfast. Breakfast will be taken at the hotel itself, after which you will depart for a full day Peninsula tour. This day’s comprehensive tour will show you the best of the spectacular Cape Peninsula and exactly why it is called the Fairest Cape of Cape Town. Travelling past Sea Point and Camps Bay, past the famous beaches of Clifton and Llandudno and moving on to the Hout Bay; driving along the Atlantic Seaboard; passing through the beautiful scenery of Noordhoek and Scarborough, anyone will fall for this amazing place. Later you will be taken to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve where you can enjoy the funicular ride aboard the “Flying Dutchman” and lose yourself in the unforgettable spectacular views. You will definitely get the opportunity to photo shoot and take some pictures at the second southernmost tip of the African continent as well. From here you will be driving along the Indian Ocean coastline, where you can visit the stunning Boulders Beach, and make an occasion of sitting peacefully among the famous colony of Jackass Penguins. Thereafter we enjoy a short stop at the naval port of Simon’s Town and know about the legend of “Able Seaman Just Nuisance” the Great Dane Dog that was inducted in Royal Navy. After this busy, but rewarding tour, you can return to the hotel satisfied with your day. Overnight at hotel.
In case you don’t know this already, the name of the place is pronounced something like knoi-zz-na, and the place itself is as exotic as the name sounds. It should be some relief that you will be transferred to Knysna right after breakfast. Once there, you can go on a cruise to the vast Knysna Lagoon. While enjoying an amazing view of the imposing sandstone ‘Heads’ which guard the sea entrance to Knysna’s huge tidal lagoon, you can also appreciate the bounty natural exquisiteness in the forests, marshes and pristine beaches surrounding it. You are free to spend the afternoon discovering the joys of the town’s many art galleries, craft shops and coffee bars. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, you can straightaway leave for a tour of the Cango Caves. This is one of the many mind blowing experiences in Oudtshoorn; you go underground to marvel at the icy formations inside the Cango Caves, which is regarded as one of the entire South Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders. Later, you will enjoy a tour of the Ostrich Farm before you move on to Knysna. If you don’t know this already, the name of this place is pronounced something like knoi-zz-na, and the place itself is as exotic as the name sounds, as you will see for yourself. After arriving in Knysna, and getting freshened up, you will go on a cruise on the vast and obviously beautiful Knysna Lagoon. After breakfast, you will be free to enjoy your day at your own leisure. You also have optional game drives to Pilanesberg Nature Reserve to see the Big 5 unless you want to stay in. The cost of the game drive is not included in the travel plan. Overnight at hotel.
You will leave for the Kruger National Park right away after having breakfast. As you must already know, the Kruger National Park in South Africa is one of the oldest and largest wildlife reserves in Africa. The park boasts a tremendous variety of game ranging fromThe Big 5 and bird life in its numerous habitats. A few of the animals you should watch out for are: elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, warthogs, lions, spotted hyenas, baboons, hippos, impalas, kudus, vervet monkeys, waterbucks, Tsessebes, wildebeests, bush babies, mongoose, duikers, steenboks, klipspringers, genets and bats. If you are lucky, you may also chance upon leopards, wild dogs, cheetahs, roan antelopes, sable antelopes, bat-eared foxes, rhinos, honey badgers, porcupines, rebooks, aardvarks, aardwolfs, civets, and caracal and serval suni. As is evident, one day is not sufficient for taking in the wonderful sights, so you will also have the next day to enjoy this amazing Park’s gifts for its visitors. After this eventful day, you will arrive and check in the lodge. Relax and prepare for the next day during the overnight stay at the lodge. Overnight at hotel.

This will be the last day of the tour. After breakfast, you will be directly transferred to the Or Tambo International airport for a happy and satisfied flight back home.
