3 Hours Before Flight Time
Welcome to Oslo! Oslo is the capital of Norway, the “Viking Capital”, founded in 1040 by the Oslo Fjord, and home to many fascinating museums and beautiful green parks full of sculptures. In the very city centre you will find the Karl Johan pedestrian street, and don’t forget to pass by the impressive
opera house.
Individual arrival to Oslo and transfer on own to the hotel (or include optional arrival transfer). Check in is guaranteed after 4 pm, in case of earlier arrival, the hotel can assist with storage of the luggage. At 6 pm, meet your tour escort and
fellow travellers in the hotel lobby for a short introduction to the upcoming adventure.
Overnight at the centrally located Clarion Collection Hotel Folketeatret, perfectly located within walking distance from the pedestrian street Karl Johan.
Breakfast buffet at the hotel. Leave Oslo by coach, driving along the Lake Mjøsa, the largest lake in Oslo, towards the Olympic city of Lillehammer, where the 1994 winter Olympic Games took place. After a brief stop in Lillehammer, continue towards Lom where we will have a photo stop to admire the 12th century stave church. Continue the journey
through the Otta Valley to Geiranger.

After the breakfast buffet at the hotel, embark on a on a 1 hour cruise along the spectacular, UNESCO-listed Geiranger Fjord with the impressive waterfalls: ”the Bridal Veil” and “the Seven Sisters”. Arrival in the village of Hellesylt and drive via the Nord Fjord and along the scenic route to Skei.
En route a stop will be made to enjoy a Norwegian waffle with coffee. Continue the journey passing the Gaular Mountain National Park, making a stop by the viewpoint before arriving at the idyllic village of Balestrand, located on the shores of the fjord and surrounded by high mountains. This unique spot is a good candidate for the most beautiful place on earth. The area is known for its fertile land and fruit trees and before we will pay a visit to the Cider House to enjoy a tasting.

Breakfast buffet at the hotel. Leaving Balestrand might be difficult, but ahead awaits two of the most famous experiences in Norway, the Sogne Fjord and the Flåm Railway. Arrival in Gudvangen, at the head of the Nærøy Fjord – a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with small farms scattered on the steep hillsides of the fjord, cascading waterfalls and towering snow-clad mountains. Board a 2 hour’s mini-cruise of the Nærøy and Auerland fjords – both branches of the Sogne Fjord, the longest and deepest fjord in the world. Disembark in the fjord side village of Flåm and after a short rest, board the world famous tourist train Flåm Railway, one of the most exceptional rail road trips in the world. With breath-taking views at every curve it will take
you up to the mountain station of Myrdal. In Myrdal, change of train and leave by the Bergen Railway to Voss, where your driver will be waiting to take you to Bergen, the “Capital of the Fjords”.

Breakfast buffet at the hotel. In the morning, enjoy a walking tour with your tour manager, covering the famous open air fish market, stroll across to Bryggen where the traditional wooden medieval buildings still remain as in the times of the Hanseatic League. Rest of the day off or join an optional, panoramic bus tour to the coastal side.

After the breakfast buffet at the hotel. In the morning, we will take the funicular up to the top of Mount Fløyen for a stunning view of Bergen and the surrounding fjord. Depart from Bergen, and make a stop by the impressive Vøringsfoss waterfall with a vertical drop of 180 meters before entering into the Hardanger Fjord area with its romantic landscape of fruit orchards and rounded mountains. Continue on the Hardanger Mountain Plateau, crossing the Hardanger Fjord Bridge, and afternoon arrival in city of Geilo, famous ski area in the winter time.
Dinner and overnight in the Vestlia Resort beautifully located by the Hardangerviddda Mountain Plateau.

Breakfast buffet at the hotel. Drive back towards Oslo via the Hallingdal Valley. Upon arrival in Oslo, you will be taken on a city tour of Oslo with a local guide. Famous sights include the Frogner Park with the famous sculptures of the Norwegian sculptor Gustav Vigeland, the Royal Palace, the medieval fortress Akershus, the Opera house, the City Hall and much more. An inside visit will be made to the Viking Ship Museum.
Overnight at the centrally located Clarion Collection Hotel Folketeatret.

Breakfast buffet at the hotel, and check out. Morning free – we recommend a visit to the Munch Museum or the Nobel Peace Center. In the afternoon, transfer to the port for departure on an overnight cruise towards Denmark and Copenhagen. Enjoy your large Scandinavian buffet on board as you sail through the Oslo Fjord. On board variety of bars as well as one nightclub.

Breakfast buffet on board. In the morning arrival to Copenhagen and transfer to your hotel after a city tour with your Tour Leader. Upon arrival at your hotel, store your luggage at the hotel (if your room is not ready, check in is guaranteed only after 4 pm) and head out to explore the Danish capital. Founded in the 10th century as a fishing village, the Danish capital is now a city full of beautiful buildings and exciting museums – but be careful, Copenhagen is a biking city, about 60% of the population use bike as their main transportation. Enjoy a walk along Strøget, one of the longest pedestrian streets in Europe, or enjoy a cup of coffee in one of the many outdoor cafés in the old port area of Nyhavn, or maybe take a canal tour. Or, in the summertime, the harbour is 10 minutes’ walk from your hotel if you feel like taking a swim with the locals.

Breakfast buffet at the hotel. Individual departure from Copenhagen and own transfer to the airport for your flight (not included) to Iceland (or include optional transfer).
Upon arrival in Reykjavik board the included transfer with shuttle bus from Keflavik airport to Reykjavik. Depending on your arrival time, you will be able to explore the city and maybe stroll to the iconic and modern church of Halgrimskirkja or take a walk along the harbour to the Sun Voyager sculpture located close to the controversial Harpa. Alternatively seek out incredible paintings on city centre buildings.

Breakfast buffet at the hotel. This morning you will join the most famous of Iceland’s tours: The guided group tour for the Golden Circle. Experience three of Iceland’s most famous and impressive attractions: Þingvellir National Park, the geothermal area of Geysir and the Gullfoss waterfall. Þingvellir National Park is located right at the boundary between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. The results of the continents drifting apart is clearly visible in the landscape. It is also a place of great historical importance being the site of the ancient Icelandic parliament, Alþingi, which was established in 930 AD. At the geothermal area of Geysir there are several different hot springs, amongst them the very active Strokkur which sends a column of boiling water high into the air every 6-10 minutes. Gullfoss is a majestic waterfall in the Hvítá river which in two stages plunges more than 30 meters into a deep crevice. It is by many considered one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the country.
Return in the afternoon to Reykjavik and maybe decide to experience the unique Blue Lagoon for a special and relaxing evening (optional tour).

On the South Shore guided group tour, you will travel through the farmlands of South Iceland with views to glaciers, volcanoes and waterfalls. Driving past the glacier-volcano Eyjafjallajökull which erupted in 2010.The stops on the tour include the waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss as well as the black beach, Reynisfjara. Seljalandsfoss is a high and narrow waterfall. It is possible to walk on a path all the way behind the falling water and out on the other side. Skógafoss is a bigger waterfall, 15 meters wide and 60 meters high. It is an impressive experience to feel the power being released when the water hits the pool at the bottom in a cloud of spray. At Reynisfjara you can witness spectacular basalt colums at the hillside as well as characteristic rock pillars rising from the sea. During the summer season there are many puffins and other seabirds nesting on the rocks. On clear days there are also good views to the promomtory Dyrhólaey where the sea has carved a big hole through the cliff.
