Itinerary

Day 1Arrive at Paro airport. Then you will be Transferred to Thimphu

  • Introduction: Paro, known for its scenic beauty and rich cultural heritage, is the gateway to Bhutan.
  • Arrival: Arrive at Paro International Airport, where our representative will welcome you and assist with your transfer to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital city.
  • Transfer: Drive to Thimphu (1.5-hour drive), enjoying the picturesque landscapes along the way.
  • Sightseeing: After checking in, visit the Memorial Chorten, a beautiful stupa built in memory of the third king, Tashichho Dzong, a stunning fortress and monastery, and the Buddha Dordenma statue, an impressive giant Buddha statue overlooking the valley.
  • Explore Markets: Spend the evening exploring the local markets in Thimphu, filled with handicrafts and souvenirs.
  • Overnight: Stay at a comfortable hotel in Thimphu.

Day 2Thimphu Sightseeing

  • Introduction: Thimphu offers a blend of traditional Bhutanese culture and modernity.
  • Cultural Sites: Start your day with visits to the National Library, housing ancient manuscripts, the Institute for Zorig Chusum, where students learn traditional arts and crafts, and the Textile Museum, showcasing Bhutanese textiles.
